Dear Potential Graduates:


Congratulations!  Your big day is drawing near and we want to fill you in on some important details:


  • Your graduation ceremony will be held at the Nevada Union High School, Don Baggett Theatre, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 @ 6:30 p.m.


  • Stop by the office or call Jamie at 530-477-1225 ext. 5000 no later than May 25, 2018 to confirm the exact spelling of your name and to let her know if you will be participating in the ceremony.You may reserve your gown at this time.


  • Caps and gowns will be checked out by Jamie Danieli beginning at 5:30 p.m. the evening of graduation at the North Point Academy office, room I15. Please do not arrive later than 6:15pm as we will be moving to the theater at that time.


  • You may purchase a tassel for $10.00 for your borrowed cap/gown on the day of graduation.Cash only, exact change please.


  • We will have a photo backdrop available for you to take photos of your graduate.


  • In order to receive your diploma, all district debts must be cleared.


  • At the conclusion of the ceremony, all caps and gowns must be returned to room I15.


  • Diplomas will be distributed immediately following the graduation ceremony in room I15 (where you will return your cap/gown). As a reminder, your diploma is a legal document for which there is no duplication; if you lose it, there is no replacement!

As we begin the 2017-2018 school year, we are asking our students to complete an entry survey.  This information will be shared with your NPA teacher. The survey should take about 3 minutes!  Thank you!
The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing will begin for NPA's junior class in April.  The details of the tests will be shared with students in their 1:1 weekly meeting.

NPA uses "" (Turn It In).

Teachers will communicate this within the weekly meetings when the program will begin. Essays may be subjected to submission for textual similarity review to for the detection of plagiarism. All submitted papers will be included as source documents in the reference database solely for the purpose of detecting plagiarism of such papers.
