Hello and Welcome to North Point Academy!
 
North Point Academy is Nevada Union High School District’s newest addition to the host of schools within our district. We have incorporated the best features of the former Sierra Mountain High School and added enhancements in services and scheduling. We’re proud to announce this new option, where each student’s unique needs are our top priority!
 
Why choose North Point Academy? For families who choose a “home studies” model for a season or two, or as  permanent option as a valuable way for your student to accelerate and become college and/or career ready ahead of his/her peer group, this might be the option for you! Our newest features are that students can have laptop computers checked out to them, wireless services are now available for electronic devices on campus, the ability to play on a sports team at Nevada Union, expanded class schedule offerings on campus, and more!  Students have online and traditional study methods to choose from, as well as the option to take 1 or 2 classes at Bear River or Nevada Union. The numerous scholarships and awards available in the high school district---literally, millions of dollars from a generous community, are available to NPA students as well.
 
We’d love to meet with you and see if North Point Academy is a fit for your student. Whatever your student needs, we will collaborate with you to build a program that works. NPA’s motto is “one student, one life at a time.”
 
We accept applications all school year long for enrollment.
