What Does Distance Learning Look Like for
North Point Academy?

North Point Academy has been working with the Nevada Joint Union High School District Administrative team in cooperation with the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools and the Nevada County Health Department to create an effective and safe environment for our students to begin their 20-21 school year with success.

  • Our curriculum and student academic expectations remain essentially unchanged from pre-pandemic.
  • Many teachers will be on campus and available to meet with students in person.
  • The Student Computer Lab will be open during regular school hours with limited capacity.
  • The Student Center will be open (in person and added virtual drop-ins) - hours will be posted on our website.
  • Teachers and Students have the right to meet virtually if they wish, during their regularly scheduled appointment times.
  • School starts on August 17th. The District provided curriculum will be available online and provided on our website.
  • Chromebooks will be available. If your student needs a chromebook, please contact Kelly Holland at 530-477-1225, ext. 2308 to schedule an appointment during the week of August 17th to pick one up.
  • A link will be provided for you and your student to select a teacher and an appointment day/time. Your teacher will make contact with you during the week of August 17th to discuss meeting preferences and details.
  • North Point Academy students, parents, and staff will be required to comply with all Covid-19 safety protocols.
We are looking forward to serving our students for the 2020-2021 school year.  Welcome!
