What exactly is a Site Council?

Unlike other formal groups associated with the school, the Site Council is made up of representatives of all stakeholder groups. Parents, students, teachers, classified staff, and administration each have an equal voice. By uniting these diverse perspectives, the Council plays a unique role in providing insight, feedback, and leadership for the school.

How can you become a member of the Site Council?

One of the most important tenets of the Site Council concept is that it is not a committee of “buddies” of the principal or staff. Rather, each stakeholder group selects its own representatives. If you are interested in becoming part of the NPA Site Council, please let your counselor know.
